Hotel Terms

The terms and conditions of use of this web site relate to bookings made at Bunchrew House Hotel, Inverness. Please read this document carefully before making a booking.

Bookings

All offers of accommodation and other services featured on the Bunchrew House Hotel website are subject to availability and there is a limited allocation of rooms available to all offers. The right is reserved to decline bookings. You cannot combine any special offer, rate or promotion on this web site with any other special offer, rate or promotion offered by Bunchrew House Hotel. No two special offers can be combined on the same booking. A booking can only be considered as guaranteed if the appropriate deposit payment has been accepted by the hotel, and a confirmation email has been sent.

Prices

The prices featured are either per person, per night or per room per night, and include a Full Scottish Breakfast. These prices include accommodation in the room type as described, all meals as specified, service and VAT (at the current rate). Minimum length of stay restrictions may apply to certain rates, as specified.

Children’s Prices

Additional beds will be charged £60 per night including breakfast when sharing a room with two full paying adults (offer subject to availability of suitable rooms), paying for other meals as taken. There are a limited number of suitable family rooms available in the hotel and therefore all additional beds are subject to availability. Cots for under 2-year-olds are complimentary each per night. Please check with the hotel for availability before booking.

Payment

The hotel accepts Mastercard, Visa, Electron, American Express, Solo and Switch Maestro. Website bookings will be charged to your card on the following basis: * Advance Purchase Rate (which applies to all special offer package rates and offers): A charge equal to the full amount of your booking will be charged to your card. You must check the booking confirmation carefully and check any queries immediately with the hotel. Advance Purchase Rate bookings are non-transferable, non-cancellable and non-refundable.

Payment by Cheque

We no longer accept cheques as a method of payment.

Amendments

If you wish to make an amendment to your booking, you should immediately contact the Hotel, we will do everything we can to accommodate your changes. Any changes to dates will incur cancellation charges on the original booking regardless of any subsequent booking that takes place. Please note that amendments to the Advanced Purchase Rate will incur any price increase. No refunds will be made in the event of a lower price being available.

Cancellation/Non-Arrival Charges

If for any reason you find it necessary to cancel your booking then please contact the hotel on +44 (0) 1463 234 917. In the event of cancellation or non-arrival your credit/debit card will be charged in accordance with the conditions as detailed below: *

Cancellation policy for direct bookings

This only applies to reservations that have been agreed under the 48-hour cancellation window. (Does not apply to travel agents)

Your booking can be cancelled up to 2 days prior to the day of arrival and you will receive back any deposits paid. After 48 hour period starts 100% of the first night’s stay will be charged to your credit/debit card. * Advance Purchase Rate bookings are non-cancellable, non-refundable and non-transferable therefore in the event of cancellation no refund is payable.

Travel agent and group bookings of four or more rooms

This applies to reservations made by travel agents or group bookings of 4 or more rooms.

Your booking can be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the day of arrival and you will receive back any deposits paid. After the 14-day period starts 100% of the first night’s stay will be charged to your credit/debit card. * Advance Purchase Rate bookings are non-cancellable, non-refundable and non-transferable therefore in the event of cancellation no refund is payable.

Group booking of eight or more rooms

This applies to reservations for group bookings of 8 or more rooms.

Your booking can be cancelled up to 28 days prior to the day of arrival and you will receive back any deposits paid. After the 28-day period starts 100% of the first night’s stay will be charged to your credit/debit card. * Advance Purchase Rate bookings are non-cancellable, non-refundable and non-transferable therefore in the event of cancellation no refund is payable.

 

Arrival and Departure

Your bedroom will be available from 3pm on your specified day of arrival. On your day of departure, we would ask that you vacate your room and check out by 11am. Late departures may be provided upon request subject to availability and are chargeable at £25

Pets

We do accept well-behaved pets at Bunchrew House Hotel and there is a charge from £15 per pet per night depending upon size and breed. We ask for the comfort of guests and staff that dogs are on the lead at all times in the building, but they may run freely outside.

Pets are not allowed in the main restaurant room, but they are allowed in the Mackenzie room (as there is limited space, booking is necessary) where you can be accompanied by your pet at dinner and breakfast, they are also allowed in the Drawing room and the Cocktail Bar.

Parking

The hotel has ample free parking, but please note that all parking is at your own risk.

3x 7kW Tesla (Type 2 compatible with other EVs) chargers that are available to use for free on a first-come-first-served basis.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in any part of the hotel. If you smoke in your room you will be charged an additional cleaning fee of GBP100 and may be liable to prosecution.

If You Have a Problem

In the unlikely event that you have a problem during your stay, you must bring it to the attention of the hotel at the time, to ensure that we have an opportunity to rectify it. If you are not satisfied that the issue has been resolved, please submit the details in writing within 28 days of your return, to: The Manager, Bunchrew House Hotel, Bunchrew, Inverness, IV3 8TA.
